Bestseller Status: Confirmed

As the Owner/CEO of Heroic Hearts Media, Hal Price brings his Heart’s Wisdom, Creative Passion and Southern Wit and Charm to the world as a marketer, inspirational writer, international bestselling author, motivational speaker, stage actor, Cable TV writer/producer, lifetime poet, professional photographer and a sage teacher.

Raised in a small community in Columbia, SC, Hal stepped into increasingly challenging roles early on as a local and nationally recognized student leader.

Over the next 38 years, Hal became a leading brand marketer for top named professional athletes including four-time NASCAR racing legend Jeff Gordon, and at Fortune 100 companies including The Coca-Cola Company and MillerCoors.

His marketing career took him from his small Southern roots to New York City, Dallas, Chicago, and Atlanta.

In 2015, Hal brought his creative gifts west when he walked away from his corporate sports and experiential marketing career to reveal his highest gifts and passions. It was in his new home in Carpinteria, CA that Hal emerged as an “In-the-Moment” artistic and creative force.

He challenged himself to expand his creative horizons to “do what scares him” and follow his heart’s beckoned call every day.

His new creative output includes 12 International Best-selling books; a blossoming career as a professional photographer (including art on magazine covers and a sold-out exhibit); debut performances on stage and screen; national requests from educators to teach elementary school children how to write, illustrate and publish their own books; and the development of an elementary ed curriculum to teach social emotional learning based on Hal’s Mindfulness Award winning Eli Benjamin Bear series of children’s books.

Hal and his wife Jodi are avid supporters of causes dear to their hearts including Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation, The Boys and Girls Club of Carpinteria, the CA Central Coast Alzheimer’s Association, and The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center.

Hal and Jodi are a blended family of six children and four adorable grandchildren.

Hal’s Recent “ORIGINAL HEARTwork” accomplishments include:

  • Becoming a professional photographer with the distinction of being the first artist with two or more pieces to sell out within a three-week period of a juried show in Carpinteria.
  • Having his photograph adorn the cover of an international magazine called, “INSIGHTS Stress Free Magazine”
  • Producing an award-winning first place video in his town-wide competition to create “Carpinteria’s Funniest Home Video”
  • Selected to be one of four writers/directors of a debut Cable TV Improv Game Show called, “Dude! You’re Making a Scene” on TVSB 17
  • Selected to be the lead actor in his hometown Local Performing Arts play at the Alcazar Theatre called, “The Death of a Snowman”
  • Selected as the 2019 Brand Ambassador for the Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce.
